Sheila Oliner 1930 – 2020

Sheila Oliner, painter, printmaker, teacher and personal friend for 26 years died in London, on April 20th 2020, aged 89. Her popular prints have been a mainstay of the gallery for thirteen years. We will miss her.

Where Art Meets Craft at 8 Holland Street

In Petronilla Silver's first show at 8 Holland Street were Mick Arnold (porcelain tableware), Anthony Bryant (wood vessels), Stephen Chambers RA (paintings and prints), Melanie Georgacopoulos (jewellery), Ander Gunn (photographs).

Nicola Bealing group of works

We are delighted to have a new group of work by Nicola Bealing that can be viewed by appointment. Her works are highly imaginative and address psychological concerns: “bold and painterly in their handling, the abstracting qualities of light and colour are not the override preoccupations of her work.”

Stephen Chambers R.A. Beneath the Golden Tree Monotypes

Some of Stephen Chambers’ monotypes made especially for our exhibition at Tremenheere are still available and can be seen in London. The Tremenheere exhibition coincided with his spectacular installation The Court of Redonda in Venice which was a Collateral Event of the Venice Biennale.
