Petronilla is back in London and is delighted to be have been invited to exhibit at 8 Holland Street Gallery in Kensington. Artists on show are Mick Arnold (porcelain tableware), Anthony Bryant (wood bowls), Stephen Chambers RA (paintings and prints), Melanie Georgacopoulos (jewellery), Ander Gunn (photographs)

8 Holland Street was launched in March 2018. A two storey treasure trove of art, ceramics, textiles, furniture, tableware, books and more.

Open daily 10.00 am – 6.00 pm

The show goes on 

The gallery has moved from Cornwall to London
and will exhibit many of the same artists

The Court of Redonda is a group of 101 oil on panel portraits of an imaginary utopian court dominated by creative people. Curated by Emma Hill as a collateral event of the 2017 Venice Biennnale, it was exhibited at Ca’Dandolo  - a palazzo on the Grand Canal.

The novelist Javier Marias has written about the collisions between fact and fiction involved in the legend that has developed around Redonda a tiny uninhabited island in the Caribbean Sea.

The Gallery was converted by the architect Caruso St. John from the former stables into a beautiful simple space.

Beneath the Golden Tree 

Some of Stephen Chambers’ monotypes made especially for our exhibition at Tremenheere are still available and can be seen in London. The Tremenheere exhibition coincided with his spectacular installation The Court of Redonda in Venice which was a Collateral Event of the Venice Biennale.
